As I was gathering ideas, tips, and suggestions for “The 12 Tips Before Christmas”, I realized many of these fall under the category of keeping frustration at bay during this most festive time of year. We’re adding a lot more to our already full plates this season, and at the same time trying to stay present and joyful even though life and work don’t necessarily recognize ‘Tis the Season to Be Jolly.
Here’s hoping these tips make for a less-stress season.
Wrapping Station

Set up a wrapping station and turn that chore into fun galore!
Stow the Bows
Dedicate an area to keep all your supplies. A drawer, a box in the closet or an under-the-bed space saver will do. Or, if organizing is the thing that makes your season merry and bright we suggest putting one of these gift wrap organizers on your wish list from your Secret Santa.
Wrapping Essentials
Stock your caddie with scissors, ribbon, tags and rolls, tissue, bags, boxes, and bows. And tape…more tape, okay, one more roll should do it!
Create a Space
The no-brainer to simplifying your holiday wrapping is finding a surface with plenty of elbow room. That’s easier said than done as table and desk space are usually at a premium this time of year. You may have to get creative and clear a place on the floor or bed like I’ve done in year’s past.
A Gentle Nudge
Finally, store your unwrapped gifts next to your station as a sweet reminder to wrap as you go.
So, grab a hot bev, slip into some jammies, stream your favorite Christmas flick and find your inner creativity.
Ready, set, that’s a wrap!
Stack ’em under the tree… Now, that’s holiday!
Hugs out! Laura
