Stock up on hostess gifts. The next time you are out shopping for a bottle of wine, see a special deal on holiday delicacies like peppermint bark or mulling spices, buy three more and wrap them when you get home. Stow them away in a handy closet or shelf. You’ll be happy you did when you’re running late to the next party. Now, your hostess gift is ready and waiting to be gifted.
Just Grab and Go!
MyTip: I like to keep an eye out for non-perishables all year long to eliminate the last minute rush for gifts for the teacher, mail carrier, hair stylist and party hostess—or whoever you gift a small offering of appreciation. It feels more thought out and thoughtful than last minute rushing, and I feel more organized. It also allows me time to find gifts that really suit those special people, instead of one-size fits all.
Hugs out! Laura
